China Now Deploying Soldiers To Battlefield Of Afghanistan, Pentagon “Aware” Of Activity

U.S officials confirmed that Chinese boots are on the ground in Afghanistan. However the Pentagon refuses to comment on the extent of China’s burgeoning military operations.

“There is mounting evidence that Chinese ground troops are operating inside Afghanistan, conducting joint counter-terror patrols with Afghan forces along a 50-mile stretch of their shared border and fueling speculation that Beijing is preparing to play a significantly greater role in the country’s security once the U.S. and NATO leave,” Military Times reports.

China’s military involvement in Afghanistan is the natural result of Beijing’s growing concern over radical Islam. Top party officials have warned that radicalism is beginning to take root in the sprawling country. Terrorism’s noxious influence is slowly seeping across its borders.

Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region was forced to beef up local security recently after violence by Islamic militants began to spiral out of control. Tensions in the region continue to run high. Uighur fighters are linked both to al-Qaeda and ISIS.

“In Xinjiang, where hundreds of people have died in recent years in violent attacks, the government’s rising rhetoric has coincided with new security measures that activists say exacerbate a cycle of repression, radicalization and violence,” writes the Daily Mail.

Last month ISIS released a video supposedly featuring young Uighur jihadists preparing to attack China.

Conservative Islam is rapidly becoming the greatest threat in the world. Nations are being refashioned as the Middle East convulses with strife. Millions of refugees continue to flood into Western countries, overwhelming local governments and draining national coffers.

“There’s a strengthening trend of viewing Islam as a problem in Chinese society,” said Mohammed al-Sudairi, a doctoral student at the University of Hong Kong and an expert on Islam in China.

“[Chinese President] Xi Jinping has been quite anxious about what he saw as the loss of party-state control over the religious sphere when he entered power, which necessitated this intervention. I don’t think things will take a softer turn.”

The Pentagon seems unwilling to discuss China’s actions in Afghanistan, although Iran’s interference was severely condemned. Analysts believe that China’s presence in the Middle East may actually be aiding U.S pursuits.

China meanwhile also refuses to comment. Poor management by Team Obama left Afghanistan in shambles with crumbling infrastructure. Militants are regaining control. It’s plausible that the Chinese are preparing to fill the void left by dwindling American and NATO troops.

Military Times reports: “In January, Chinese media circulated a report about Chinese troops allegedly rescuing a U.S. special forces team that had been attacked in Afghanistan. The story is likely bogus propaganda…but it would seem to underscore the two countries’ shared interest in combating terrorism there.”

U.S-Chinese relations have become strained in recent years as China began to flex its muscles internationally. China’s aggression in the South Sea cannot be borne without comment, yet the country’s machinations in Afghanistan are allowed to go unchecked.

China and Afghanistan share a 50 mile border. Both countries routinely perform joint patrols in the area. Chinese officials worry that militant Afghans will slip into the troubled Xianjiang region and foster the spread of Islamism.

“This is law enforcement bodies from China and Afghanistan, in accordance with a bilateral agreement on strengthening border law enforcement, conducting cooperation along the border so as to jointly carry out counter-terrorism and to fight against cross-border crime,” Chinese Defense ministry spokesman Ren Guoqiang told reporters.

Countries across the globe would do well to adopt President Trump’s attitude towards Islam. The blind liberal tolerance witnessed in western and northern Europe resulted in calamity. Americans are now largely shielded from Islam’s wrath because of Trump’s precautions.

America’s long engagement in Afghanistan has been fruitless. Massive amounts of resources have been expended in what’s essentially become a stalemate. U.S troops desire to leave yet the the resulting power vacuum would likely allow terrorists to seize control of the country.

China’s involvement could be extremely beneficial to the U.S. The region could be secured without our direction.

“A stable Afghanistan is in the interest of both the United States and China,” said Franz-Stefan Gady, a senior fellow at the East-West Institute. “I assume there must be a tacit understanding that China’s involvement in Afghanistan is welcome up to a point.”

“China,” he continued, “has been seen as a ‘free rider’ — gaining economic benefits by exploiting the country’s natural resources while not contributing to the political and military solution of the conflict. So it is not surprising that as Western engagement in the country diminishes, China gradually steps in to fill the void to secure its interests.”

Beijing is keenly interested in Afghanistan’s abundant natural resources. China is finally taking a stand against terrorism because it’s obvious their interests can’t be trusted to jihadists. Terror groups rarely negotiate with foreign governments.
