Remember Bill’s Secret Meeting With Lynch On The Tarmac? Judicial Watch Does, Now They’re Suing
Everyone remembers one specific meeting that Bill Clinton had with then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch. It was when the FBI was investigating Hillary Clinton due to her email scandal. Lynch and the former president stopped on an actual tarmac, and later reports said the meeting was not planned. An unplanned meeting between the top attorney in the country and the spouse of someone under investigation? How was this allowed?
This was a meeting that should have caused a media firestorm. However, the media just believed the statement that Lynch issued afterwards. She said that they mostly talked about golf and their grandchildren. The meeting lasted roughly a half-hour, and they spent it talking about their respective grandkids?
This meeting was highly suspicious on its own. However, when it’s remembered that Hillary was under FBI investigation at the time, the suspicion level rises higher. Keep in mind that Lynch was the head of the Justice Department at the time of the meeting. Democrats tried to brush off the meeting, but luckily Republicans didn’t let up.
One conservative watchdog group in particular, Judicial Watch, has just filed a lawsuit against the Department of Justice. They want to see the records that are related to this meeting that took place. Knowing Judicial Watch, they are bound to find something that will shed new light on this secret encounter.
This isn’t the first time that the group has asked for information regarding the meeting. They originally asked for records on a June 29, 2016, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request. The conservative and nonprofit watchdog group wanted transcripts of everything from the encounter.
This included a transcript of the meeting itself, various communications about the encounter and even any references about the meeting in Lynch’s own calendar. In other words, Judicial Watch wants anything and everything related to this meeting.
Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton released a statement on the recent lawsuit. “The infamous tarmac meeting between President Clinton and AG Lynch is a vivid example of why many Americans believe the Obama administration’s criminal investigation into Hillary Clinton was rigged.”
He later added, “Now it will be up to Attorney General Sessions at the Trump Justice Department to finally shed some light on this subversion of justice.” Many Americans were astounded that this meeting was allowed to take place. Again think of everything that was going on at the time.
The FBI was investigating a private email server used by then-Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. This was a presidential candidate that was under investigation, and the head of the Justice Department decides to have a meeting with her husband?
Clinton and Lynch had their private meeting on the tarmac of the Phoenix Sky Harbor International airport. Literally days after this meeting, the FBI decided not to have charges pressed against Hillary. Considering that nobody knows the truth, there is one theory that has been gaining popularity. Former President Clinton was striking a deal with Lynch in exchange for Hillary to not have charges against her.
It’s one of the more popular theory’s out there. As the rest of the narrative goes, Hillary was not punished for her use of a private server. This was despite the fact that FBI Director James Comey said she was “extremely careless.” Lynch herself even admitted that the secret meeting “cast a cloud” on the investigation.
Lynch has expressed regret for the meeting that took place, but if she really were regretful, why would she have accepted the meeting in the first place? She still hasn’t told people what the real purpose of the meeting was. Come on, they had an unplanned meeting just to talk about their grandchildren? If that was the case, then wouldn’t a phone call suffice?
Why was it so important for them to meet face-to-face? Again these are the types of questions that might never be answered, but Judicial Watch is going to try. It’s been nine months since they were refused what they requested. Now that there is a new Attorney General and administration in charge, answers might finally be given.
Judicial Watch has been active in their quest for the truth. They also asked that the Justice Department’s Inspector General investigate this meeting. This group hasn’t forgotten about Hillary’s email scandal either. Back in October they filed yet another lawsuit. They asked about FBI interviews about Hillary’s emails, related communications and more records about the tarmac meeting.
They, along with the rest of the country, want answers as to what happened on this meeting. This was something that should NEVER have happened; yet it did. Now that the country has a new leader and a new Justice Department, answers will finally be given.
This isn’t the first time that Judicial Watch has looked out for the interests of the United States. In January, they released an article on the growing relationship between the Drug cartel and ISIS. They rely on each other and help each other out to gain access to the United States. That would be something important to know, considering that they are two groups looking to harm Americans.
ISIS is a perpetual fear of many Americans. Considering that they do what they can to hurt and kill, it’s a rational fear. Unfortunately it escalates upon hearing what ISIS released last month. They said that they were advancing in Iraq, and that “American born” terrorists will conquer the United States. That is a rather worrisome statement.
Share this article with everyone to show that Judicial Watch is tired of waiting. They want answers pertaining to the secret meeting on the tarmac between Lynch and Clinton. They won’t stop until those questions are answered either. Soon enough, America will have the real reason for the meeting.
