Lone wolf jihadi Khalid Masood got dangerously close to the PM before he was gunned down

The Prime Minister is escorted towards her car by elite armed cops

THIS is the moment Theresa May was rushed from Parliament by armed guards to a waiting car — as the Westminster terror attack unfolded 100 yards away.

Exclusive video obtained by The Sun shows that lone wolf jihadi Khalid Masood got dangerously close to the PM.

Mrs May emerged from the building towards her car with clear archways between her and the spot Masood was gunned down.

Footage shows her temporarily losing her bearings and being steered back towards the car by aides.

And the driver of the Jaguar XJ then appears to delay exiting the car park inside the Palace of Westminster complex — sparking fears the PM could have been left vulnerable.

There were clear archways between her and the spot jihadi Khalid Masood was gunned down

A source said: “There was clear air between the spot where the terrorist was shot down and Mrs May’s car.

“There were no locked doors, just two open archways for vehicles. If there had been more than one attacker, God only knows what might have happened.

“They could have run straight through one of the open arches and tried to stab or shoot her.”
