The Democratic Party is filled with corrupt liberals. They get into office simply so they can engage in illegal behavior and do favors for others. While Barack Obama was the President, he did nothing to hold the left accountable for their misconduct.
Earlier this year, it was revealed that former National Security Adviser Susan Rice had repeatedly asked to “unmask,” or reveal the identities of, people associated with the Trump campaign. Before that, it was proven that Hillary Clinton stored classified information on private servers. Despite this, James Comey, the former FBI Director did not investigate either Democrat’s questionable conduct. If he did, sources close to the FBI say he would’ve implicated himself, which suggests that he dropped both investigations in order to protect himself.
Just recently, Jack Posobiec, a reporter for Rebel TV, tweeted, “FBI source tells me Comey dropped the Susan Rice unmasking investigation bc it would have implicated himself. Developing.” Apparently, he was worried that investigators would’ve found something that he didn’t want them to know about.
Comey’s past reluctance to help the Senate investigate Rice makes much more sense with this in mind. Despite the Senate’s repeated attempts to get information about the “unmasking” of Trump associates by Rice and others, the FBI refused to cooperate. Last month, Adam Housey, a Fox News correspondent, reported that Intelligence Committee members were complaining that the FBI was being extremely difficult. “The information they continue to request from the Intelligence Agencies, now for over a month, has been very little given,” he explained. If this continues, Congress may decide to deauthorize the congressionally approved program that allows them to collect the information in the first place.
Fox New’s Malia Zimmerman, an investigative reporter, corroborated Housey’s claim. According to her, “there’s a big question about the FBI’s role in this… [and] there is concern in the House about just generally how the FBI is handling the case.” To clarify she said, “we spoke with some members of the House Intelligence Committee who said they’re very frustrated with the FBI.” She claimed that because of this, she’s not sure how much of an active role the FBI is actually playing in the “unmasking” investigation.
Although it’s not quite clear yet exactly how he would’ve implicated himself, if true, it wouldn’t be the first time he’s dropped an investigation in order to cover up his involvement. Comey reportedly did the same thing with the Clinton investigation. He essentially dropped the investigation to cover up the fact that he didn’t properly address concerns that Loretta Lynch, the former Attorney General, would protect Clinton. Instead of having her removed from office, which is what he should’ve done, he held secretive meetings without her to figure out how to tell the public that they weren’t going to press charges, which he decided well before the FBI investigated her.
Fortunately, President Donald Trump was well aware of Comey’s corrupt conduct and recently fired him. Despite the fact that Comey publically stated, “I have long believed that a President can fire an FBI Director for any reason, or for no reason at all,” sources close to him say he extremely angry with the President. They claimed he was extremely upset about some of the comments direct at him, referring to an interview Trump recently gave with NBC where he called Comey a ”showboat” and “grandstander.”
Ironically, numerous Democrats have also spoken out against Trump’s decision to fire Comey despite wanting him fired as well. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) claimed that Trump decision to fire Comey is a “big mistake.” Specifically, he said, “earlier this afternoon President Trump called me and informed me he was firing Director Comey,” adding, “I told the president, ‘Mr. President, with all due respect, you are making a big mistake.’”
Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) also attacked the President for firing Comey. During a recent interview on MSNBC, when asked if she was happy with Trump’s decision to get rid of Comey given the fact that that in the past said he wasn’t “credible,” she responded, “no, I do not, necessarily, support the president’s decision.” To explain, she said, “under investigation, this president basically has interfered with an investigation where he may be implicated.”
Trump’s decision to fire Comey was an excellent one. He was an extremely corrupt individual that not only covered for Clinton and Rice but also compromised their investigation in order to protect himself. With this in mind, firing him may not have been enough. President Trump should consider having charged with corruption.
