President Donald Trump has done quite a lot in his first eight months in office. However, one of the few things he hasn’t done is issue a presidential pardon, or a get out of jail free card. That could be changing soon.

President Trump has discussed issuing a pardon for former Arizona sheriff Joe Arpaio, who was one of the biggest opponents against illegal immigration.

Trump said, “I am seriously considering a pardon for Sheriff Arpaio.” He mentioned that the sheriff had done quite a lot against illegal immigration and that the official pardon could happen in the next couple of days.

Arpaio was convicted by a judge after he had continued law enforcement patrols of illegals despite having another judge’s order to stop.
