Listen: JFK files reveal CIA informant knew Adolf Hitler survived World War II and fled to Colombia

A newly declassified CIA memo, which was part of the John F. Kennedy assassination files, has revealed that the CIA investigated whether German dictator Adolf Hitler survived World War II and fled to Colombia.

According to Newsweek, an informant told a CIA agent whose codename was Cimelody-3, that Hitler was indeed alive and living in Latin America. The memo also states that if Hitler did indeed flee to Colombia, it would have been around 1954.

A picture was released which appears to show Adolf Hitler and Phillip Citroen, a CIA informant, and former German SS agent who kept in touch with Hitler while in the city of Tunja.

Today, Pat discussed the bizarre yet fascinating details of the memo which you can more about here.
