Singer Joy Villa made a political statement on the Grammy’s red carpet last year with a red, white and blue dress that read “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN” down the front.
This year, Villa made another political statement, one that will anger pro-choice liberals.
What did she wear?
When she stepped on the red carpet for the 60th annual music awards show, Villa was wearing a white gown with a hand-painted fetus surrounded by a rainbow on it. She also carried a white purse that said “Choose Life” and wore a tiara.
“I’m all about life,” she told Fox News. “I’m a pro-life woman. This year I chose to make a statement on the red carpet like I always do.”
The inspiration for the dress came from her own life, Villa explained. She said she favors adoption over abortion because she gave up a child for adoption when she was 21. The award-winning singer is now 26.
Just like last year, Villa was not nominated for any Grammy’s at this year’s awards ceremony.
