Another top official connected to Clinton has resigned.

A top Justice Department official overseeing former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s email scandal as well as the Russia probe has abruptly resigned.

David Laufman was not only suspected of leaking national security information to the media, he also oversaw the Clinton email probe and Russia investigation at the FBI.

Laufman served as chief of the National Security Division’s Counterintelligence and Export Control Section at the department and began his career in government in 1980 as a CIA analyst.

The Washington Post posted a detailed profile on Laufman on Wednesday, where it was revealed that he contributed roughly $880 to former President Barack Obama’s two presidential campaigns.

Laufman’s abrupt and questionable resignation follows former Deputy Director Andrew McCabe also mysteriously stepping down in late January.

The two resignations of high ranking officials isn’t a coincidence as both were key players in the Russia probe and Clinton email investigation.

Both also left their top positions following the FISA abuse memo from House Intelligence Committee Chair Devin Nunes.

Nunes’ explosive memo exploited how FBI and DOJ officials abused their power by using an unverified dossier from former British spy Christopher Steele to secure a warrant to spy on Carter

Steele was hired by the Clinton-connected research firm Fusion GPS to compile the dossier, which contained numerous inaccurate claims the FBI admitted it couldn’t verify.

The memo exposed that the FBI failed to notify the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court that Fusion GPS was paid upwards of $10 million to fund the dossier by Clinton’s 2016 campaign and the Democratic National Committee.

In the past month, the GOP has exposed FBI and DOJ officials who acted corruptly to launch the Russia investigation and we are seeing major advancements in Clinton’s email investigation and her “pay-for-play” scheme while she led the State Department.

Like McCabe, Laufman is just one of many who are trying leave before it gets worse for corrupt Democrats.

He can resign, but he can’t hide from GOP lawmakers looking to hold corrupt actors accountable.
