Matt Drudge, founder of the highly influential Drudge Report put Twitter on notice Thursday in a rare tweet.

Matt Drudge has previously expressed his contempt for social media, referring to sites such as Facebook and Twitter as “ghettos.”

Although Matt Drudge sparingly uses Twitter, he completely shuns Facebook.

Matt Drudge tweeted a graph with a link to data showing the Drudge Report catching up to Twitter as the top external referral source. Twitter is currently at 2.4% whereas the Drudge Report is a hair behind at 1.3% in the last year.

Drudge tweeted: “Move over, Twitter!” with a link (screenshot below since Matt Drudge deletes his tweets after a couple days)

Tech giants such as Twitter, Facebook and YouTube are censoring conservatives by using many different methods from shadowbanning, to overtly blocking content from users.

Twitter is censoring the Drudge Report by marking tweets with a warning that states, “This tweet is not available because it includes potentially sensitive content.”

On Sunday, Chairman Devin Nunes brought attention to Twitter censoring the Drudge Report’s tweets.

People always seek out the truth so if social media giants wants to snuff out conservative voices, other sources will fill the void.
