(CNSNews.com) – In two tweets early Tuesday morning, President Donald Trump took aim at what he described as the rigging of Google search results.
Google search results for “Trump News” shows only the viewing/reporting of Fake New Media. In other words, they have it RIGGED, for me & others, so that almost all stories & news is BAD. Fake CNN is prominent. Republican/Conservative & Fair Media is shut out. Illegal? 96% of results on “Trump News” are from National Left-Wing Media, very dangerous. Google & others are suppressing voices of Conservatives and hiding information and news that is good. They are controlling what we can & cannot see. This is a very serious situation-will be addressed!
In April, the Media Research Center — the parent organization of CNSNews.com — released a groundbreaking report exposing efforts to censor conservatives and silence conservative speech on major online platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Google and YouTube. The House Judiciary Committee cited the MRC report four times at a recent hearing.
And then in May, the MRC joined 18 other conservative groups in forming a new, permanent coalition called Conservatives Against Online Censorship.
This new coalition is urging Facebook, Twitter, Google and YouTube to provide transparency; provide clarity on ‘hate speech’; provide equal footing for conservatives; and mirror the First Amendment.
“Social media is the most expansive and most game-changing form of communication today,” said Media Research Center President L. Brent Bozell III. “It is these facts that make online political censorship one of the largest threats to free speech we have ever seen. Conservatives should be given the same ability to express their political ideas online as liberals, without the fear of being suppressed or censored.”
