The lawyer associated with porn actor Stormy Daniels claims a third accuser will emerge ‘in the next 48 hours’

Michael Avenatti is trying to insert himself back into the news cycle, this time by insisting he has secret knowledge of Brett Kavanaugh gang raping women at a torture chamber he ran as a student in Washington, D.C. He’s also suggested Kavanaugh made Satanic references in his senior yearbook quote. (Yes, really.)

Today he pitched major new details coming, and quickly scored interviews on CNN and MSNBC.

Maddow told her audience that Avenatti would be detailing new allegations against Kavanaugh. But to Maddow and Cuomo’s dismay (somehow he was on both programs simultaneously), Avenatti would not reveal his client, her allegations, or any other new details.

Instead, Avenatti is pitching a big reveal later this week. He says he’ll announce a third Kavanaugh accuser “in the next 48 hours.”

Maddow began the interview looking for new salacious details about Kavanaugh. Avenatti punted, telling the MSNBC host: “As it relates to her particular allegations, we’re not going provide additional information beyond that which is contained within the e-mails that I exchanged with the Senate Judiciary Committee.”

Perhaps sensing viewers would be disappointed, Avenatti said: “I do not traffic in nonsense or rumor. I utilize facts and evidence, and this woman will prove to be credible, and she is believable, and we are hopeful that the committee will launch an FBI investigation forthwith.”

Avenatti insisted his client is preparing to go public.

“When these allegations are surfaced within the next 24 to 48 hours, there will be no question that Brett Kavanaugh is not fit to sit on the U.S. Supreme Court, and we will have for a thorough investigation relating to these allegations as well as allegations of Dr. Ford and others,” Avenatti said. “We understand the seriousness of this. We do not make these allegations lightly, and ultimately, this will be as in most cases a fight for credibility, whether people believe Brett Kavanaugh, whether they believe my client as well as corroborating witnesses, and hopefully, whether they believe Mark Judge.”

Maddow tried again and again to pry out a few details, but Avenatti wouldn’t budge.

Meanwhile, on CNN, the exchange was effectively identical. However, Avenatti lashed out at Brett Kavanaugh telling Fox News he was a virgin through high school and much, if not all, of college.

The claim, Avenatti said, “shows he’s lying.”

AVENATTI: “It’s absolutely unbelievable. And I think the American people are smarter than this. You cannot reconcile the individual in the Fox News interview with the individual who wrote what he wrote in his year book. You cannot reconcile the individual on Fox News with the individual that was joined at the hip with Mark Judge throughout the years at issue. You just can’t. Those — you cannot reconcile those two. And I don’t believe that America is going to believe what Brett Kavanaugh just stated on Fox News.

“And I also want to say this. So what exactly is he saying? Is he saying that he did not have sexual intercourse? And are we going to get into a definition of exactly — Are we going to get into a definition of sexual intercourse. Does that mean he performed oral sex or had oral sex performed on him, does that mean any host of any other sexual activities occurred? Or does he want America to believe that the only thing that he did until well into his college years was effectively kiss or French kiss a woman? Is that what he wants America to believe?”
