Philippe Reines apparently went mental after appearing on a segment for Fox News.
He allegedly went ballistic after appearing on a Fox Business segment that examined the border wall funding and General Motors lay-off announcement.
As a guest commentator along with Harlan Hill, the mild segment apparently triggered the Clinton crony, who followed Hill afterward, “screaming like a maniac.”
Hill is a member of the 2020 President Trump advisory board. He told reporters that Reines confronted him after the debate.
He said Reines screamed, “You’re just as much of a jackass on TV as you are online” and that Hill should “stop hiding behind [FBN anchor Trish Regan’s] skirt.”
“We chirped back and forth, and he said, ‘You’re not half the debater you think you are.’” Hill reported.
“To which I said, ‘That’s probably the lamest, most D.C. diss I’ve ever heard,’” the Trump member said.
Many people consider that a fairly accurate statement.
Reines made headlines in 2015 for some bizarre and manic emails to reporters.
Gawker writer J.K. Trotter published a story indicating two of Clinton’s top aides used “secret email accounts” while they worked for her at the State Department.
CJ Ciaramella, a reporter for Vice and the Washington Free Beacon, emailed Reines asking about the Gawker story.
“In his response, Reines CC’d multiple media critics and Trotter. Among other things, Reines’ email criticized Trotter’s ‘creepy’ reporting methods and accused him of relying on a source who lied about Clinton.”
All this was reported by Business Insider, which we now know was only the tip of the iceberg in the Clinton email scandal.
“Trotter’s piece said an unnamed source who “has worked with Clinton in the past” alleged both Reines and another top Clinton aide, Huma Abedin, used private email addresses on the domain clintonemail.com when they worked under Clinton at the State Department.”
“In his email to Trotter and Ciaramella, Reines vehemently denied he ever used personal email without including his government address.”
“Since this fundamentally comes down to honesty, transparency and accountability, I thought we’d go through an exercise together – with Erik Wemple of The Washington Post and Brian Stelter of CNN included as observers,” Reines wrote.
Great ‘objective’ observers, right? It’s also ridiculous for a Clinton advisor to be talking about ‘honesty’ and ‘transparency.’ Hillary is still trying to keep her actions secret.
Anyway, it appears Reines is simply unhinged… all of this was three years ago, and now he continues his weird behavior.
Reines allegedly followed Hill through the newsroom screaming, so Hill started snapping photos of Reines’ ridiculous attire.
“Yeah, I know how I look. How about you wipe the pubic hair off your face?” Reines allegedly told Hill in response.
The Daily Caller reported, “Reines blocked several Daily Caller reporters on Twitter after they retweeted Hill’s account of the incident. According to an anonymous eyewitness, Reines did not wear pants during a recent appearance on Tucker Carlson’s Fox News program either.”
