Former-Pepsi CEO Indra Nooyi is reportedly being considered for the position of World Bank President by the Trump Administration.
According to the New York Times on Tuesday, White House Adviser Ivanka Trump is pursuing the former beverage company executive as a possibly candidate.
Reports also indicate Nooyi could be the top contender for the role if she’s interested in the position.
The 63-year-old spent twelve-years as the beverage company’s top-executive before stepping down in 2018. She also served on the President’s business council.
The search for a replacement for outgoing head Jim Yong Kim is said to be in its early stages.
