Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) just grilled Tim Sloan, the Wells Fargo CEO, about the banks involvement with human rights abuses, particularly the leftist claim that the Trump administration is “caging children.”

It was a bizarre question that obviously caught Sloan off guard, but he fired back with the perfect answer that absolutely obliterated the socialist.

Despite the troubles in Wells Fargo’s history, this was a question that simply made no sense, but coming from Ocasio-Cortez, it made perfect sense.

It’s right up there with eliminating cows who fart too much.

As quoted by Caleb Hull on Twitter:

AOC: “Why was the bank involved in the caging of children?”

Wells Fargo CEO: “I don’t know how to answer that question because we weren’t.”

After some rambling, Ocasio-Cortez responded: “Ok, I’ll move on.”

Watch Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez get wrecked on video!

After that, Ocasio-Cortez shifted to talking about the Dakota Pipeline issues.

To hear Ocasio-Cortez ask a bank CEO about caging children might have thrown everyone for a loop as people present might have wondered what she was talking about in the first place.

It’s one thing to go after big banks for shady practices, or loan companies for ridiculous interest rates — but to ask a bank CEO about caging children?

What point was she trying to make?

The fact she shifted away from the question so fast means she might have thrown the bizarre question out there like a monkey wrench in a dodge ball game.

Not sure where that question came from, but it certainly provided some laughs.

The responses on Twitter provided even more comic relief in a time of hilarious politics.

The last comment is wonderful and true. Saturday Night Live could have a field day with content from Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Don’t you agree?
