The reason Fox News can claim they are “fair and balanced” is because they have reporters and hosts who are not solid conservatives.
Every other network has a token conservative, while FNC plays it down the middle and reports the facts.
There’s little to no room for conspiracy.
Shepard Smith and Chris Wallace are just two Fox News hosts who tend to disagree with President Trump on a regular basis.
Check out the mental break down suffered by Wallace in light of the Mueller report vindicating Trump and “Russia collusion”…
From Federalist Papers:
Federalist editor Mollie Hemingway appeared with Wallace, Juan Williams and others after the report was submitted to Attorney general Bill Barr.
“The fact that there are no more indictments coming and the fact that all of the indictments we’ve seen thus far have been for process crimes are things unrelated to what we’ve been told by so many people in the media with treason, collusion to steal a 2016 election, I think it’s very significant,” Hemingway said.
“But if there is nothing there, that matches what we’ve heard from the media for many years, there needs to be a reckoning, and the people who spread this theory both inside and outside the government who were not critical and did not behave appropriately, need to be held accountable,” she said.
Wallace: “We don’t want to rush to judgement and I think that since this report has come out, since no one has seen it, to say that somehow this clears the president seems like the height of rushing to judgment.”
Wallace: “People talk about the appointment of the special counsel. The fact is the reason the special counsel was appointed is because Trump fired James Comey in the middle of his investigation.”
Wallace: “If Comey had been allowed to finish his investigation there probably wouldn’t have been an special counsel.”
Wallace: “I’m also a little surprised at this talk about process crimes. Process crimes are not parking tickets. Process crimes are lying to federal prosecutors, they’re lying to the FBI.”
Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) have released a joint statement on the Mueller report.
Today, Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi released the following statement regarding Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report to Attorney General William Barr.
Now that Special Counsel Mueller has submitted his report to the Attorney General, it is imeprative for Mr. Barr to make the full report public and provide its underlying documentation and findings to Congress. Attorney General Barr must not give President Trump, his lawyers or his staff any ‘sneak preview’ of Special Counsel Mueller’s findings or evidence,” they say, “and the White House must not be allowed to interfere in decisions about what parts of those findings or evidence are made public.
The Special Counsel’s investigation focused on questions that go to the integrity of our democracy itself: whether foreign powers corruptly interfered in our elections, and whether unlawful means were used to hinder that investigation. The American people have a right to the truth. The watchword is transparency.”
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell released his own statement:
