Former Democratic Nevada Senator Lucy Flores made a statement on Friday and claimed that former Vice President and potential 2020 candidate Joe Biden sexually harassed her in 2014.
“I felt him get closer to me from behind. He leaned further in and inhaled my hair. I was mortified,” Flores said. “He proceeded to plant a big slow kiss on the back of my head. My brain couldn’t process what was happening. I was embarrassed. I was shocked. I was confused. … I wanted nothing more than to get Biden away from me.”
This allegation is a huge development considering Biden is the frontrunner for the Democratic candidates to take on President Trump in 2020.
So what does the main stream media have to say about this sexual harassment allegation? Not much!
Check out what the Daily Caller reported:
CNN and MSNBC have not covered the allegations a former Democratic lawmaker levied against former Vice President Joe Biden in the 12 hours after the allegations surfaced on Friday afternoon.
Former Nevada Assemblywoman Lucy Flores, whom Biden campaigned for at the time of the incident in 2014, accused him of inappropriately kissing her. The allegation was published in an essay titled, “An Awkward Kiss Changed How I Saw Joe Biden,” in New York Magazine.
A review of MSNBC’s and CNN’s on-air coverage via Grabien, a television video-clipping service, turned up nothing about Flores’s allegation during the 12 hour period after the time of the story’s publication (3:36pm Friday afternoon) on either network.
Conversely, the allegations were brought up on multiple Fox News programs including: “The Story With Martha MacCallum,” “The Ingraham Angle,” and “Fox News at Night With Shannon Bream,” who mentioned it in her opening monologue.
“I thought to myself, ‘I didn’t wash my hair today and the vice-president of the United States is smelling it. And also, what in the actual f***?” Flores stated. “Why is the vice-president of the United States smelling my hair? He proceeded to plant a big slow kiss on the back of my head. My brain couldn’t process what was happening. I was embarrassed. I was shocked.”
“I couldn’t move and I couldn’t say anything. I wanted nothing more than to get Biden away from me,” Flores continued, also mentioning that the situation made her “feel uneasy, gross, and confused.”
In a statement released by Biden’s spokesman Bill Russo, the former Vice President neither confirms nor denies the allegations stating that, “Neither then, nor in the years since, did he or the staff with him at the time have an inkling that Ms. Flores had been at any time uncomfortable, nor do they recall what she describes.”
Had this been someone bringing these allegations against President Trump, the media would be spending night and day reporting on the allegations. But since the allegations are brought against a Democrat like Biden, they are completely silent.
