Jussie Smollett has been in the news for the past two months for staging a hate crime on himself and blaming it on Trump supporters. Smollett was facing 16 counts until earlier this week when the unthinkable happened and Chicago prosecutors decided to drop all his charges.

Although this was good news for Smollett, this ended up being terrible news for the actors hit TV series ‘Empire’ which had its largest ratings crash in its history.

Check out what Breitbart reported:

According to TVLine, Wednesday night’s episode of Empire dropped to 3.97 million viewers. This all-time low follows last week’s low performance of only 4 million total viewers.

The ratings for the Fox drama have been in a free fall since Smollett allegedly planned a hoax attack against himself. Two weeks ago, the show’s fifth season debut episode dropped 35 percent in the ratings compared to last year.

OUCH! That’s what they get for hiring a total scumbag!

Smollett was let off the hook earlier this week because of his volunteer hours.

According to the Chicago prosecutors, Smollett spent two whole days volunteering for Jesse Jackson Sr.’s nonprofit group, which became a key factor that led them to drop all charges against the actor.

Seriously? Is this really how the justice system works? I guess all you need to do to get out of spending years in jail nowadays is just do volunteer work for a couple days. But the catch is this process only works for privileged liberals. What a joke!

Smollett skated through the American justice system but according to new reports, he will most likely be fired from ‘Empire.’

Check out what Breitbart had to say:

As the scandal around Cook County State Attorney Kim Foxx’s inexplicable decision to drop all 16 felony counts against Smollett turns nuclear, sources tell Deadline Smollett is seen as radioactive.

“It’s a position that seems headed towards Empire coming back for another season, but most likely without Smollett, ” reports Deadline.

A source explains, “Things are so unclear and there is a feeling that this isn’t over, that there’s more to come.”

Indeed there is.

As Pajama Media’s Roger Simon put it Tuesday, Smollett is now seen by the public as “the new O. J., another man getting away with a crime he committed in full public view. That didn’t work out very well for The Juice. In fact, he’s a pariah for life. And it won’t for Smollett either.”

That is exactly right, with one crucial difference…

After butchering Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman, O.J. had no choice but to proclaim his innocence until the very end. His choice was a stark one: Life in prison or not.

Breitbart later noted, “From the sounds of it, Fox has a legitimate out if they do indeed decide to drop Smollett — and that is the pending federal case.”

Smollett deserves everything that is coming for him considering he was forgiven for all his crimes by the Chicago prosecutors.
