Three more women came forward Wednesday evening and accused creepy hands Biden of inappropriate touching after he posted a video promising he’d be “more mindful” about people’s personal space.
In an article published Wednesday night in The Washington Post a woman named Vail Kohnert-Yount claimed that when she was working as an intern in the White House in 2013, creepy Uncle Joe approached her and invaded her personal space when she introduced herself.
“He then put his hand on the back of my head and pressed his forehead to my forehead while he talked to me,” Kohnert-Yount told The Post. “I was so shocked that it was hard to focus on what he was saying. I remember he told me I was a ‘pretty girl.’”
Kohnert-Yount said she didn’t consider Joe Biden’s creepy invasion of her personal space to be “sexual assault or harassment,” she added that “it was the kind of inappropriate behavior that makes many women feel uncomfortable and unequal in the workplace.”
Earlier Wednesday, Joe Biden posted a two-minute video on Twitter saying he will be “more mindful” about his excessive touching of women.
“Social norms are changing. I understand that, and I’ve heard what these women are saying. Politics to me has always been about making connections, but I will be more mindful about respecting personal space in the future. That’s my responsibility and I will meet it,” he said.
Kohnert-Yount wasn’t impressed with Biden’s video and told WaPo: “I appreciate his attempt to do better in the future, but to me this is not mainly about whether Joe Biden has adequate respect for personal space. It’s about women deserving equal respect in the workplace.”
Another woman, Sofie Karasek told WaPo that creepy Uncle Joe pressed his forehead against hers following the Oscars ceremony back in 2016. The photo of the incident has been circulating online since 2016.
Ms. Karasek said Biden’s video wasn’t enough. He “still didn’t take ownership in the way that he needs to.”
A third woman, Ally Coll said Joe Biden squeezed her “for a beat too long” while she was a staffer putting together a reception party for Democrats back in 2008.
Ally Coll told WaPo that Biden’s video showed how out of touch he is and revealed “a continued lack of understanding about why these stories are being told and their relevance in the #MeToo era.”
Biden is getting buried in a tsunami of #MeToo accusations after two women, Lucy Flores and Amy Lappos, came forward over the weekend alleging then-Vice President Joe Biden groped them.
More women came forward this week and told their ‘groping Joe’ stories to the New York Times.
Biden didn’t just grope grown women out in plain sight for years, he molested prepubescent girls during swearing-in ceremonies for lawmakers as well.
