ABC’s “The View” co-host Whoopi Goldberg was briefly “bleeped” and appeared to have her microphone cut after she went on a sick rant about President Donald Trump’s visit abroad.
During a segment Thursday on the show, co-host Joy Behar kicked things off by slamming Trump’s visit and speech in Normandy, France, for the 75th anniversary of D-Day.
Goldberg then said, “I don’t want to talk about him there because it irritates the (bleeped) out of me.”
It appears that Goldberg’s audio on her mic was cut because no one could hear what she was saying.
When her audio was magically restored, Goldberg continued, “All those people who went and gave their lives – they didn’t have bone spurs, they went. People went to fight the ugly that was happening. They went and did it. That’s all I’m going to say.”
It appeared that the producers cut her mic because they anticipated Goldberg using foul language or saying something that was deeply inappropriate about the president.
While the deranged liberals on The View may have taken issue with Trump’s speech, just about everyone else showered the president with praise for his remarks.
CNN’s Jim Acosta praised Trump for his magnificent D-Day speech.
“This is perhaps the most on-message moment of Donald Trump’s presidency today. We were all wondering if he would veer from his remarks, go off of his script but he stayed on script, stayed on message and, I think, rose to the moment,” Acosta said.
Acosta praised Trump for saying the men who stormed the beaches are among the greatest Americans who have ever lived.
“That could not be more of a fact check true,” Acosta said.
He continued: “It was really one of those moments that Donald Trump needed to rise to in order to, I think, walk away from the cemetery, walk away from this hallowed ground and have people back at home saying, ‘You know what, no matter what I think about the current president of the United States, he said the right thing at Normandy. He did the right thing at Normandy.’”
Acosta concluded by saying Trump “hit all of the right moments” when paying respect to the D-Day heroes.
Acosta wasn’t the only liberal showering Trump with praise for his incredible speech.
MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” co-host Joe Scarborough, who also has a long history of bashing the president, echoed Acosta’s thoughts on Trump’s terrific speech.
“Trump delivered what, again, I believe is the strongest speech of his presidency,” Scarborough said, noting that it was a “beautiful moment” when Trump acknowledged that many of the troops feel the “heroes were the ones that never came back” but the survivors formed a remarkable generation.
Trump delivered an incredible speech.
