House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is not only refusing to condemn socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s disgusting “concentration camps” remarks, she is actually blaming President Donald Trump and Republicans.

During an Instagram live video session on Monday night, the New York socialist compared these “concentration camps” for migrants to the Holocaust.

Needless to say, her claim is completely false and utterly disgusting.

While speaking at a Christian Science Monitor breakfast on Wednesday, Pelosi was asked about Ocasio-Cortez’s comments, but she didn’t appear bothered by them at all.

“These members of Congress, they come to represent their districts and their point of view and they take responsibility for the statements that they make,” the California Democrat said.

“I’m not up to date with her most recent remarks,” Pelosi told reporters. “I saw them on the news, but I haven’t spoken to her about that.”

Then, Pelosi actually blamed Republicans for blowing Ocasio-Cortez’s remarks out of proportion.

“I do have some comments to make to my caucus writ large about the political nature of how politically charged the atmosphere is so, understand that while the Republicans have no interest in holding the president accountable for his words,” Pelosi said.

She added: “They will misrepresent anything that you say, just if you have one word in the sentence that they can exploit.”

On Monday night, Ocasio-Cortez falsely claimed that Trump’s administration is operating Nazi-style “concentration camps” on the U.S.-Mexico border.

Migrants being detained by U.S. officials for illegally entering the country is in no way comparable to the horrors and atrocities that took place during the Holocaust, which resulted in millions of innocent Jews and others being murdered.
