Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden thinks that President Donald Trump’s election victory and administration is comparable to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Robert F. Kennedy being assassinated.

While speaking with with Rev. Al Sharpton on Saturday during MSNBC’s coverage of the South Carolina Democratic Convention, the former vice president was asked about criminal justice reform and helping minority communities.

While pandering for votes, Biden weirdly compared the deaths of MLK and Kennedy to Trump’s election victory and presidency.

“There’s so much we can do, and it’s within our capacity to do it,” Biden said. “That’s the interesting thing.”

“I think what’s happening now is, I think that Donald Trump may have reawakened sensibilities in this country to say ‘Whoa, maybe we can do this now, just like our generation was awakened when Dr King and Bobby Kennedy were assassinated,” Biden continued. “Our whole generation said I’m back in, man.”

“These millennials, they get it, Rev. And now they want to get engaged,” Biden added.

While addressing the Poor People’s Campaign on Monday, moderator and MSNBC host Joy Reid asked Biden how he would get his proposals through a GOP-led Senate.

“If we can’t get a consensus, nothing happens,” Biden said.

“There are certain things where it just takes a brass knuckle fight,” he continued, turning dark.

“Or let’s start a real physical revolution if you’re talking about it because we have to be able to change what we’re doing within our system,” Biden added.

Before that, he found himself in hot water again for plagiarizing a slogan from Michael Avenatti, the anti-Trump lawyer who briefly flirted with a 2020 run of his own before being indicted on multiple charges.
