Does the treachery of the progressive Democrats know no end?
After defending the members of the left’s new “squad” from Trump’s go-back-home tweet, it appears as though the new freshman legislators are attacking House Speaker Nancy Pelosi AGAIN.
As reported by Red Blue Divide:
The four progressive congresswomen, known as “the squad,” who are currently in a heated feud with President Trump offered a not-so-subtle warning to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif. They made this warning for the next time she “singles them out.”
Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-NY, Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich, Ilhan Omar, D-Minn, and Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass, sat down with “CBS This Morning” host Gayle King on Tuesday as the House voted to formally condemn Trump over tweets that Democrats labeled as racist.
King asked the congresswomen if they’ve been in contact with Pelosi.
“Our teams are in communication,” Ocasio-Cortez responded.
Tlaib continued, “Acknowledge the fact that we are women of color, so when you do single us out, be aware of that and what you’re doing, especially because some of us are getting death threats, because some of us are being singled out because of our backgrounds, because of our experiences and so forth.”
Their constant betrayal of Pelosi is simply unbelievable.
And for what? What were her crimes against the “Squad?”
Apparantly there were many complaints among Democrats regarding the new nitwits, and Nancy took an opportunity to try to calm things down.
According to USA Today:
In the weekly House Democrat breakfast on July 10, Pelosi addressed the complaints, urging respect among her fellow Democrats.
“You got a complaint? You come and talk to me about it,” Pelosi told the group, according to a source in the room. “But do not tweet about our members and expect us to think that that is just OK.”
“On a team you play as a team. If you want to be not on the team, that is OK because that is part of the team spirit – you just want to not play in that round,” Pelosi said.
To be fair, these comments came after an already escalating argument between Pelosi and the ferocious four about the spending packing for border humanitarian aid that passed with every single Democrat voting for it- except for the four freshman Squad Broads.
The liberal media took note, and prompted quite a quip from Pelosi, per USA Today:
Pelosi had dismissed the first-term lawmakers in a July 6 interview with the New York Times, saying “they’re just four people.”
“All these people have their public whatever and their Twitter world,” Pelosi said, according to Maureen Dowd’s column in the Times. “But they didn’t have any following. They’re four people and that’s how many votes they got.”
This constant bickering is a “fracture” that has democrats frightened, because it signals an easy win for Donald Trump to reclaim the White House.
Even more frightening is that fact that the Freshman Four are in complete denial, as evidenced by their recent interview with CBS’s Gayle King:
GAYLE KING: As we sit here today, there appears to be a fractured relationship between the squad, the four of you, and Nancy Pelosi. Do any of you think that that relationship needs to be repaired? Or that there needs to be work done to heal that relationship? Is there a fracture?
OMAR: I don’t feel a fracture.
OCASIO-CORTEZ: I don’t. I don’t. I think that just as there were members of Congress that did not vote for the Speaker on the House floor the day of our swearing in, just as there are members who challenge her conclusions, who disagree with her, so do we from time to time. But that does not mean that there is a fundamental fracture or a dehumanizing going on within our caucus.
The disloyalty is truly remarkable. Should be an easy win for Trump in 2020.
