Gun Owners of America scored some solid victories in Maryland and Massachusetts.

According to a press release that it published on May 7, 2020, both of these states were able to get gun stores and shooting ranges to reopen.

GOA teamed up with other plaintiffs in Massachusetts who filed a lawsuit against the state’s shutdown of gun stores. Now, due to a ruling from a federal judge, gun stores can open up on May 9, 2020.

“GOA is pleased to see that gun stores will be reopened in Massachusetts. In times of emergencies, it is vital for people to be able to acquire the tools necessary to protect themselves and their families,” declared Erich Pratt, Senior Vice President of GOA.
