Orthodox Jews in NYC took to the streets on Wednesday night to show Mayor Bill de Blasio and Governor Cuomo they can’t run their lives.
Sporting Trump 2020 flags, the large group gathered to protest Governor Cuomo’s partial closure of synagogues, mandatory mask mandates and a myriad of other issues.
On Tuesday night, the same group once again gathered in the streets of Brooklyn to protest, this time setting fire to a pile of COVID-19 face masks.
The week-long holiday Sukkot was also being celebrated during the protests.
President Trump responded to footage of NYPD “rounding up” the Orthodox demonstrators, asking, “What does this grim picture remind you of?”
