President Trump has warned that Democrats are attempting to steal the election as vote counting has been stopped in several key areas, with officials declaring that people need to ‘go to bed’.
With the election still on a knife edge this morning, Trump told reporters “We were getting ready to win this election. Frankly, we did win this election.”
“We have won Georgia. We’re up 2.5 percent, or 117,000 votes with only 7 percent left. They are never going to catch us!” Trump added.
“Likewise, we’ve clearly won North Carolina,” the President declared.
“We were getting ready to win this election. Frankly, we did win this election,” Trump said, adding “This is a major fraud on our nation. We want the law to be used in a proper manner. So we’ll be going to the U.S. Supreme Court. We want all voting to stop.”
“We want all voting to stop. We don’t want them to find any ballots at four o’clock in the morning,” Trump urged.
Earlier Trump tweeted
“We are up BIG, but they are trying to STEAL the Election. We will never let them do it. Votes cannot be cast after the Polls are closed!”
Twitter censored the post as as “potentially misleading.”
