In Brief
- The Facts:A hilltop in central Thailand has attracted people who believe extraterrestrials hover above a huge Buddha statue and send telepathic communiques to people trying to warn humanity about the direction we are headed.
- Reflect On:Why are there so many corroborating stories about extraterrestrials contacting humans urging them to get their planetary affairs in order? Should we be taking these stories seriously now that the existence of UFOs has been confirmed?
One can explain these phenomena by switching attention from “extraterrestrials” to spiritual agents (persons) centered on the Earth. Call them angels (some being demonic) and you would be closer to the truth, that is, have a better explanatory theory, than calling them extraterrestrials.
The problem is people, for cultural reasons, find extraterrestrials more credible than angels. They really aren’t. Switch to angels and I would find these reports more interesting.
