White House unwilling to admit Biden’s promises of blanket amnesty led to unprecedented migrant surge

White House press secretary Jen Psaki had difficulty trying to spin the brewing border crisis triggered by Joe Biden.
Fox News reporter Peter Doocy took Psaki to task during a Wednesday briefing over the sudden influx of thousands of illegal migrants and children at the U.S. southern border.
“You’ve been telling migrants that now is not the time to come but they are coming in bigger numbers every day. Do you have a messaging problem?” Doocy asked.
Psaki did one of her patented “circle back” dodges and blamed President Trump.
“Well, I think in the last administration we had a morality problem,” Psaki snapped.
“Children were being pulled from the arms of their parents. Kids were being sent back on a treacherous journey, and that’s not the approach of this administration.”
Psaki also failed to explain why the number of unaccompanied migrant children in Customs and Border Protection custody TRIPLED over the last two weeks.

In fact, an Arizona border chief warned Wednesday that illegal immigration numbers were on track to surpass the past 3 years COMBINED.
“So right now, we’re about a hundred percent over where we were this time this last fiscal year,” John Modlin, Tucson’s CBP interim chief told journalist Sharyl Attkisson.
“We’ve already surpassed in the first four months of this fiscal year; we’ve already surpassed all of 2018. If the flow continues at the rate it is here, by the end of this fiscal year, we will have surpassed ’18, ’19, and ’20, all combined.”
Biden and his team have been eager to rebrand their policy of detaining migrant children after constantly labeling Trump’s measures as putting “kids in cages.”
