Per reporting from outside the Veterans Memorial Coliseum where the Maricopa Audit is taking place, the security surrounding the complex appears secure.  However, President Trump is calling for the Governor to provide additional security.

On Friday, April 23rd, I wanted to see what kind of security was present at the Arizona Veterans’ Coliseum, which was where the election audit in Maricopa County is being performed.

For those living in Arizona, everyone knows where this is because we have the Arizona State fair here every year. To give you an idea, the entire fairgrounds area is permanently fenced off and is about the size of half of a city block. It’s near the middle of the city, not on the outskirts of town like other states.

To give a little background, I have six years of experience as a security officer in Arizona, having worked event security at golf tournaments, spring training, and even the Super Bowl.

When I approached the north entrance of the Coliseum around 5:45 pm, I noticed three Arizona rangers on duty, guarding the gate. I parked down the street and approached on foot. The three or four Arizona Rangers on duty were very responsive and approached me immediately. Their heads were on a swivel and they were extremely alert. Even the homeless guy walking by got a second glance. There was some vehicle traffic, and they were checking in with each person who entered or exited.

After chatting with them a few minutes, I drove around to the south entrance, where I was told the press could enter. The driveway to get to the actual gate was much longer and had traffic cones all along the middle. I started filming on my phone as I approached. As I pulled up closer I rolled down my windows and spoke with a loud voice, telling the man at the gate I was a journalist.  I then made a U-turn, not attempting to go inside.

Based on my brief visit to the coliseum on a Friday evening, even if someone were to get past the manned outer gates, there is a lot of open space between those gates and the Coliseum itself, so the chances of successfully sneaking into the Coliseum are slim.

But the Democrats are desperate and will do anything to stop this audit, so President Trump is calling for the Arizona Governor to provide more security at the Coliseum.

This morning the President called on the Arizona Governor to assist with more security:

After Democrats refused to fund $1 million bond for the forensic audit of Arizona’s presidential election results, former President Donald Trump is calling on GOP Gov. Doug Ducey to provide security.

“The Republican Party is demanding that Gov. Ducey of Arizona immediately provide large-scale security for the brave American Patriots doing the Forensic Audit of the 2020 Presidential Election,” Trump wrote in a statement Saturday morning from his Save American PAC. “Gov. Ducey will be held fully responsible for the safety of those involved.

“State police or National Guard must be immediately sent out for protection. The Democrats do not want to have this information revealed, and they will do anything to stop it. Gov. Ducey must finally act!”

The Coliseum is well guarded and there are contingencies if someone tried to bully their way in.  But the Democrats are desperate and will do anything – even steal an election to gain power.
