Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) could be seen giving a celebratory fist bump to President-imposed Joe Biden before his Congressional address on Wednesday night.
Biden would go on to blame Trump supporters for an attack that he said was worse than 9/11:
Cheney emerged as one of the worst Republican deniers of election fraud after last year’s presidential vote. After the U.S. Capitol demonstration on Jan. 6, she joined Democrats to impeach former president Donald Trump after he had already left office in a blatant violation of the U.S. Constitution.
The fist bump can be seen here:
Cheney is rumored to be a presidential contender in 2024, which has prompted immediate mocking from Trump in an email blast to his supporters.
“Liz Cheney is polling sooo low in Wyoming, and has sooo little support, even from the Wyoming Republican Party, that she is looking for a way out of her Congressional race. Based on all polling, there is no way she can win,” he said.
She’ll either be yet another lobbyist or maybe embarrass her family by running for President, in order to save face. This warmongering fool wants to stay in the Middle East and Afghanistan for another 19 years, but doesn’t consider the big picture—Russia and China!” Trump added.
Big League Politics has reported on how the Wyoming GOP derided Cheney in the strongest of terms by passing a censure resolution after she betrayed her party, country and sacred honor:
“The Wyoming Republican Party passed a resolution on Saturday demanding for Rep. Liz Cheney to “immediately” resign after she joined the Democrats to impeach former President Donald Trump for a second time…
The resolution is also demanding that Cheney return all of the money that she fleeced out of Republicans for donations under false pretenses.
Cheney was too weak and pathetic to even show up and face the music while she was being reprimanded for her disloyal and disingenuous actions to help the Democrats…
She released a demeaning statement after the fact claiming that her enraged constituents are ignorant of the U.S. Constitution.
“My vote to impeach was compelled by the oath I swore to the Constitution. Wyoming citizens know that this oath does not bend or yield to politics or partisanship,” Cheney said…
While Cheney’s actual constituents express their disdain for her behavior, she was recently reaffirmed during a private vote of House Republicans who were too cowardly to show where they stood to the public.”
If Cheney leaves office humiliated, disgraced and can no longer show her face in Wyoming, she will be getting off easy considering what her family has done to the nation.
