No jab, no entry, even for world leaders.

After arriving for the UN General Assembly, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro was forced to eat pizza on the sidewalk because he is not vaccinated and therefore banned from indoor dining in New York.

Yes, really.

While elites in Hollywood and New York get to ignore COVID restrictions when attending indoor events, being the leader of a major country isn’t enough to get you an exemption.

An image posted to Twitter shows Bolsonaro and his delegation being forced to eat the pizza while standing outside because they were not allowed to enter the restaurant.

Bolsonaro has repeatedly downplayed the threat of COVID, arguing that it is merely “a little flu” and insisting that his athletic past would protect him from its worse consequences.

It’s unclear whether other elites attending the UN confab will get special passes to enter restaurants since the United Nations itself has already made clear they won’t face any vaccine passport or COVID checks to enter the building.

Meanwhile, a Black Lives Matter protest is being planned outside a restaurant in New York because three black women were denied entry on the basis that they couldn’t prove they’d had the jab.

“I believe that this New York City vaccine passport will be used to keep black people out of spaces, and if we don’t stop it now then the police will use it as an excuse to harass and arrest our people,” a Black Lives Matter Greater New York spokesman told Fox News in a statement.

Figures show that large numbers of the black community in major cities remain unvaccinated, as many as 50 per cent in some areas.

Vaccine passports defeated on the basis of them being racist?

At this point, we’ll take what we can get.
