Recently, Iceland announced they would no longer use the Moderna vaccine. Not just for teenagers or people under 30. For everyone. Because the risk of heart problems is too high, according to their health authorities.
Iceland joined Sweden and Denmark in halting Moderna vaccinations in its country.
On Tuesday France’s public health authority recommended people under 30 avoid Moderna Inc’s (MRNA.O) Spikevax jab, which carried comparatively higher risks of heart-related problems than other COVID vaccines.
According to Reuters, the decision in Paris came after regulators in several other countries, including Canada, Finland, and Sweden, had also taken a more defensive stance on Spikevax over heart-related safety concerns affecting younger people.
