Florida Governor Ron DeSantis says he is examining ways to prevent the Biden administration from continuing to secretly fly illegal aliens into his state.
Nearly 80 planes carrying illegals have quietly landed in Jacksonville under cover of darkness in recent months, Florida’s public safety czar Larry Keefe told the Washington Examiner. Maintain peak vigilance by taking advantage of our latest sale now!
“Over 70 air charter flights [on] jetliner airliners coming from the southwest border have landed at Jacksonville International Airport,” Keefe said. “On average, there’s 36 passengers on each of these flights. And that has been going on over the course of the summer through September.”
“We’re in a sad situation of trying to run an investigation. Who is facilitating this travel? How are they getting here? Who are the support people? Who are the sponsors?”
Many of the illegals are then being loaded onto buses and transported throughout the East Coast region, Florida officials confirmed.
“We don’t know definitively or specifically as to why Jacksonville is the chosen place,” Keefe asserted.
“[We’re] having to watch and observe, and in effect, spy on the government to see what it is that they’re doing in the middle of the night out of these airport facilities.”
Asked by Fox News host Tucker Carlson about how he can thwart the clandestine operations, Gov. DeSantis said his team is investigating ways to exploit chokepoints along the chain of operations, including targeting private contractors.

“So what we’re looking at is how can we fight back against the contractors? We can obviously deny them state contracts, which we will do,” DeSantis explained. “Can we deny them access to Florida’s market generally? Can we tax them? Can we do things to provide disincentives so they can’t do it? So we’re going to do whatever we can to do it.”
“But we are going to go after some of these contractors because they are bringing in people that are causing burdens on us and, and as we see, tragically, caused someone to lose their life.”
Last month, a 24-year-old illegal alien who recently entered the U.S. and claimed to be an ‘unaccompanied minor’ was arrested for fatally stabbing a father of four in Jacksonville who had provided him shelter after his arrival.
