“Biden is treating the American public like fools”

Tesla CEO Elon Musk once again slammed Joe Biden in social media posts, responding to remarks about U.S. manufacturing, calling Biden a “damp socket puppet.”
Musk reacted after Biden tweeted “I meant it when I said the future was going to be made right here in America,” along with a video of him in conversation with General Motors CEO Mary Barra.
“Companies like GM and Ford are building more electric vehicles here at home than ever before,” Biden’s tweet also read, completely ignoring Musk’s electric car empire.

Madness has taken national proportions … Shame on Joe Biden and Mary Barra for this lie, it's so insignificant to be like that

Musk hit back “Starts with a T, ends with an A. ESL in the middle.”

In a further tweet, Musk charged that “Biden is treating the American public like fools.”
Honestly how does he say this with a straight face. Shame on you President Biden for trying to cancel a great American company and rewrite EV history.

No one is buying this. What an embarrassment for the United States. @elonmusk #Tesla https://t.co/LgUtP8Mnjp
Musk has a point, given that Tesla’s Model Y and Model 3, both made domestically, are by far the top-selling electric vehicles in the U.S. ahead of GM and Ford.

Musk also followed up with more general comments about his feelings on government mandates:
If you scare people enough, they will demand removal of freedom. This is the path to tyranny.
