Says she doesn’t care about winning in the Sports Illustrated interview – but parents of her teammates tell mag she is ‘eliminating women from sport’

Transgender swimmer Lia Thomas has defended competing in the female category and claims she does not care about winning, despite regularly wiping the floor with opponents who were born girls.
Lia transitioned from male to female and is now competing for UPenn’s women’s team.
Her participation in the team has been widely criticized by people who say she has an unfair physical advantage.
In an interview with Sports Illustrated that was published on Thursday, she defended her place in the team.
The parents of her teammates told the magazine however that she is ‘eliminating women from the sport’.
‘I’m a woman, just like anybody else on the team. I’ve always viewed myself as just a swimmer. It’s what I’ve done for so long; it’s what I love.

Dude, STFU.
Nothing WOMANLY about this GUY!!!
Sorry, Lia, I wont pander to insanity!
What s/he is, is relatively easy to establish. A “simple” chromosome test to check if the Y-chromosome is present. Is so, no participation in individual competitions against women, when muscle force is needed. Remember the weightlifting scandale in the last outdoor Olympics? Well, it became a case of poetic justice, as he failed all of his three attempts and became dead last …
Also checking testosterone levels. In some sports, women are not allowed to compete, if the level is too high. In the same Olympics mentioned above, at least one female runner was not allowed to participate, due to that reason.
Why cheeting? If he isn’t good enough to compete against men, he should be doing something else, like knitting …
