Ray Liotta dead in his sleep at age 67
Ray Liotta, the actor perhaps bets known for his stunning performance in the 1990 mob film “Goodfellas,” was found dead at age 67 on Thursday.
While the cause of death is not yet known, Liotta passed away in his sleep in the Dominican Republic while filming “Dangerous Waters,” which was halfway done with filming at the time of his death.
Liotta, who has featured in a number of films often as a gangster or “wiseguy” has also starred in “The Many Saints of Newark,” “No Sudden Move,” and “Marriage Story” more recently.
There is no foul play suspected, as it is currently assumed that he died of natural causes.
Many celebrities from Josh Brolin to Jamie Lee Curtis have expressed their condolences as they honor the memory of the man and the actor.
“My buddy. My friend. How so soon? Why? I’ll miss you. I will think about seeing you at Gold’s often, talking about what to do next, how to find something together.”
“I always looked up to you — the work was always so good, but the man you were always stood out among the rest of them. Yes, I will miss you, pal. Until we meet again, wherever they say that is.”
He leaves behind a daughter, Karsen, and fiance Jacy Nittolo.
