“A source tells me 5 undocumented individuals from Afghanistan crossed into the U.S. yesterday,” independent journalist Ali Bradley reported on Sunday.
“With Operation Allies and the refugee program extended to that country the landowner here was concerned why they would be crossing illegally now.”
Bradley shared video purportedly shot at the scene of the encounter which appears to show five men speaking with a Border Patrol agent and soldiers from the Texas National Guard.
Fox News correspondent Griff Jenkins also reported on the incident, saying, “Back on the border in Eagle Pass, TX amid massive migrant surge… 2,968 encounters in the last 48hrs in the Del Rio sector… and an unusual apprehension of 5 Afghan nationals.”
