The House passed a bill 219-210 to codify the right to an abortion on Friday and is now on track to pass one to ensure women can travel across state lines to get the procedure if necessary.
Every Republican voted against the 2022 Women’s Health Protection Act to codify abortion rights, and every Democrat except Rep. Henry Cuellar, D-Texas, voted for the bill.
