LISA Marie Presley, the only child of rock ‘n’ roll legend Elvis Presley, died at age 54 after suffering cardiac arrest at her home.
Paramedics performed CPR on the 54-year-old singer after finding her in her Calabasas, California, home before taking her in for treatment.
Lisa Marie went into “full [cardiac] arrest” and was given adrenaline at least once to help her regain her pulse, TMZ reported.
The outlet reported that her housekeeper found her unresponsive in the bedroom of her home.
Lisa Marie’s ex-husband Danny Keough is said to have administered CPR on the scene.
She was then taken to an Intensive Care Unit for further treatment.
Late Thursday evening it was reported that she was on life support and had a temporary pacemaker.
Photos obtained by the outlet showed Lisa Marie’s mother, Priscilla, arriving at the hospital to be by her side.
Her half-sister Deborah Presley Brando was also seen outside the hospital.
She appeared sullen, holding a tissue in her hand.
A family source told The U.S. Sun that not much information about the singer’s prior health status has been shared.
She looked frail in the days before the incident, including at the Golden Globe awards on Tuesday where she clung to “Elvis” star Austin Butler.
Born on February 1, 1968, she is the sole heir to her father’s estate, with the crooner dying when she was just nine years old.
A savvy businesswoman, Presley has released a number of albums including To Whom It May Concern, Now What, and Storm & Grace.
