Three crew members of the film Rust have filed a lawsuit against Alec Baldwin and the producers, claiming that they have experienced anxiety and symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder due to the shooting death of the film’s cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

The October 2021 incident occurred in a church building at the Bonanza Creek Ranch near Santa Fe, New Mexico when Baldwin’s gun fired, with the bullet killing Hutchins and wounding director Joel Souza.

Baldwin denied pulling the trigger, but prosecutors have charged him with involuntary manslaughter for firing the weapon while it was pointed at Hutchins.

The three crew members who have filed this latest suit are Ross Addiego, the dolly operator, Doran Curtin, the set customer, and Reese Price, the key grip.

All three claim they were near Baldwin when the gun was fired and suffered ‘blast injuries’ from the deafening sound of the shot.
