An intoxicated man armed with a shotgun walked into an Oregon bar around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, but patrons quickly disarmed the gun-totting individual, authorities say.
According to police, a drunk man wielding a shotgun entered the Skyland Pub in Troutdale, Oregon. Quick-thinking bar patrons allegedly identified the armed man as a possible threat. Two patrons at the Skyland Pub confronted the visibly intoxicated man.
The bar patrons grabbed the man’s shotgun and smashed him in the face with his own gun, according to deputies with the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office. Other bargoers then helped tackle the purported drunk man, while others fled from the drinking establishment. The gunman was held captive until police arrived at the scene.
