BATESVILLE, AR (WSAU) – According to Business Insider, a judge in Arkansas has threatened to put Hunter Biden in jail if he doesn’t show up in court to answer inquiries about his income and other matters related to a child support case involving his 4-year-old daughter.
Circuit Judge Holly Meyer ordered Biden to appear in court in Batesville, Arkansas, next month to answer questions from Clint Lancaster, the attorney for the mother of his daughter, and to provide his bank records from 2013.
The mother of Biden’s daughter, Lunden Roberts, alleged in court documents that the first son disregarded the judge’s directive to reply to her inquiries regarding her support action against him, including submitting his bank statements, according to Business Insider.

Now, on July 10, he must show up in court to answer Lancaster’s questions and present proof of his financial situation, including his bank statements.
Business Insider also notes that if Biden does not appear, he could be found in contempt of court, which could result in a jail sentence of up to six months, a fine, up to $20,000 for Roberts’ legal bills, and the rejection of his petitions in the case.
In addition to requesting that Robert’s petition to have their daughter’s last name changed to Biden be denied, Biden has also urged the court to lower his $20,000 monthly child support payments.
On Wednesday, Insider contacted both Abbe Lowell, the attorney representing Biden, and Lancaster, the attorney for Roberts, but neither responded.
