Twitter’s former legal and policy head Vijaya Gadde is under fire after Twitter communications released by Elon Musk revealed she played a central role in censoring the Hunter Biden laptop story in 2020.
The “Twitter Files” released through independent journalist Matt Taibbi on Friday detail how Twitter executives coordinated to suppress the Hunter Biden laptop story without then-CEO Jack Dorsey’s knowledge.
“The decision was made at the highest levels of the company, but without the knowledge of CEO Jack Dorsey, with the former head of legal, policy and trust Vijaya Gadde playing a key role,” Taibbi tweeted.
