President Joe Biden’s disapproval rating has hit a new high of 56 percent as another dire poll spells trouble for Democrats with the 2022 mid-terms approaching fast.

The CNBC/Change Research survey tracked Biden’s disapproval figure at 49 percent in April before rising to 54 percent in September and now 56 percent heading into the new year.

Biden’s approval rating now stands at 44 percent.

The primary factor behind Biden’s increasing unpopularity appears to be the economy, with 60 percent disapproving of his handling of the economy, a six-point drop compared to September 2021.

“That number rises further to 72 percent disapproval when people were asked about his handling of the price of everyday goods,” reports the Daily Mail.

A majority of 55 percent also disapprove of Biden’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump continues to dominate every Republican Primary poll.

A Reuters/Ipsos survey asked voters, “Thinking about the presidential election in 2024, who would you support as the Republican nominee for president?”

54 percent of Republicans said they would support Trump, with only one other candidate, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, achieving double-digit support with 11 percent.
