CNN announced it has suspended anchor Chris Cuomo “indefinitely” pending further review in light of revelations that he dug up dirt on women accusing his brother former Gov. Andrew Cuomo of sexual harassment.

In a statement Tuesday, CNN said the new revelations about Cuomo “raise serious questions” because his “involvement” in his brother’s scandal was deeper than he let on.

The “Cuomo Prime Time” host had secretly contacted news industry “sources” for information about the accusers involved in his brother’s sexual harassment scandal.

The news prompted an industry-wide outcry from corporate colleagues at the New York Times, The Atlantic, Rolling Stone, and even NPR.
