Top Democrat Mayors Muriel Bowser and Lori Lightfoot were caught over the weekend flouting the very COVID rules they had just imposed upon their constituents.
Just hours after declaring indoor mask mandates for every person over two years old in the nation’s capitol – regardless of vaccination status – Washington, D.C. Mayor Bowser was photographed officiating a wedding Sunday without wearing a mask.
Her hypocrisy was so brazen that even some of her once-staunch supporters were calling for her to resign.
Likewise, after just announcing her own set of new COVID restrictions, Chicago Mayor Lightfoot continued to host Lollapalooza, one of America’s largest outdoor music festivals, over the weekend.
“Thank you for masking up and vaxxing up!” a maskless Lightfoot told the crowd.
And again, this hypocritical stunt even rubbed Democrat allies the wrong way.
This comes after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was observed not wearing a mask at the Capitol building amid just imposing mask mandates under threat of arrest for the rest of Congress.
Even Joe Biden came out looking like a massive hypocrite last Thursday after admitting that taking the vaccine won’t necessary mean the end of wearing masks.
“Mr. President, you said, in May, you said ‘If you are fully vaccinated, you no longer need to wear a mask,” said Fox News reporter Peter Doocy.
“That was true at the time!” Biden shouted. “Because I thought there were people who were going to understand that getting vaccinated made a gigantic difference.”
It’s obvious that Democrats don’t believe their own COVID hype because they’re routinely seen ignoring their own rules.
This is just another example of how the Democrats’ biggest priority is power and control, not protecting the public from the China Virus.
