OAKLAND COUNTY, MI – On Wednesday, Julian Antonio Pinedo, 18, was arrested after he reportedly stabbed a 14-year-old girl he met on social media. He attacked the young girl after she refused to have sex with him, according to Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard.
Upon responding to the victim’s home in the 6000 block of N. Bay in Springfield Township, deputies discovered the girl lying on the floor, suffering from multiple stab wounds to her back and abdomen.
Her younger sibling was asleep in the home at the time of the attack, according to court documents.
Pinedo fled the scene before deputies arrived, but was caught a short time after midnight.
He traveled from Illinois to have sex with the girl.
