Kamala Harris Was Apparently Caught Off-Guard When Asked What Her Biggest Accomplishment is So Far. Her Response is Hilarious

Kamala Harris may be the least effective vice president in generations. She was made a “border czar” and has failed in a spectacular fashion. She has protracted an internal feud with the Bidens by leaking hit pieces to CNN and the New York Times. She is President of the Senate and a deciding vote on 50-50 issues, yet has soured relations with key Democratic senators Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema, dooming much of the Biden agenda.

Harris is also one of the least popular vice presidents in recent memory. Multiple staff has fled from her inner circle in just her first year in office. Despite only gaining around six percent of support in the South Carolina primary race during the Democratic presidential campaign, thereby pushing her to drop out, she has insisted on a coronation from the Biden White House to become the 2024 presidential nominee. Suffice it to say, Kamala Harris’s vice president has been an utter disaster.

So, when Harris was recently confronted by Margaret Brennan of “Face the Nation” to list her greatest accomplishment thus far in office, the response is a hilarious and instructive one. Watch:

“You said you feel the responsibility because you are the first and you carry that with you,” Brennan said. “What does that mean for what you actually see as your biggest accomplishment?”

“Well, that is a great question,” Harris replied. “Umm, I will tell you one thing. When I go to an event, whatever it is and some dad or mom brings their kids, daughters, or sons and says that’s your vice president and challenges their kids to think about who does what as a way I think of empowering the kids to know that they can do anything they want and not be confined by who has traditionally done what. I think that is one of the things that gives me joy is to know that that might be a possible impact.” Advertisements

Just so we get this straight: Vice President Harris is listing her greatest accomplishment as her impact on children. If you might recall, Harris did a bit for NASA that actually featured child actors to make her look more likable. No, seriously. Behold:

She wasn’t done listing her extensive accomplishments, however. There was more.

“Then, it terms of the work, I mean, it is so wide-ranging,” she continued. “It’s everything from, again, what we talked about maternal health… I love electric vehicles, I am a geek when it comes down to it and what we have the capacity to do.”

“Again, 25 million children, at least pre-Covid, a day in America go to school in America on these diesel trucks, on these buses,” she added. “And inhaling these fumes which have a direct impact on their ability to learn and what we can do there and what we can do in terms of the work we are doing to clean up lead pipes,” she went on. “The space counsel, I am very excited about that work. Because it’s not only about STEM, it’s about national security. It’s about international norms.”

“So, there is a variety of work,” she said. “And diverse, in terms of the range.”

If you were looking for “accomplishments” in that “wide-ranging” answer, good luck. And to think, this is the same vice president who has complained to the press about her role in the White House.
