The man who attacked comedian Dave Chappelle on stage in LA earlier this month and was later charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon has admitted that he was ‘triggered’ by Chappelle joking about trans people.
At the time of the attack, Chappelle joked that “it was a trans man” who jumped on stage. As it turns out, that wasn’t far from the reality.

The man, 23 year old Isaiah Lee, who was carrying a knife and a replica firearm when he was arrested reportedly told The New York Post “I identify as bisexual and I wanted him [Chappelle] to know what he said was triggering,”
Speaking to reporters from the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles, Lee also stated “I wanted him to know that next time, he should consider first running his material by people it could affect.”
Lee also took offence to jokes Chappelle made about homelessness, saying he had previously been homeless and that the jokes made him ’emotional and upset.’
“It’s a struggle and I wanted Dave Chappelle to know it’s not a joke,” Lee said.
After he was arrested, Lee was also found to be the suspect in an attempted murder dating from December 2021, when a person was stabbed at a ‘transitional housing program’ for homeless people.
Lee denies being mentally ill and entered a plea of not guilty on counts of battery and possession of a weapon with intent to assault as relates to the Chappelle incident.
As we noted at the time, Lee was quickly detained after he stormed the stage and tried to tackle Chappelle. Lee was pounded on by the comedian’s entourage and Chappelle himself, resulting in a broken arm.
The insane WOKE are now becoming violent. Don’t you just love the way governments use identity politics?
