In the United States, some states are traditionally either red or blue. Without a doubt, opposing parties in those states strive to change the political color of those states, but real efforts and hopes of influencing the voters are in the states that are known as “swing states”.

In these battleground states, the race to see which party will gain the electoral votes in a presidential election will mean the difference in a presidential race, such as the one coming up in 2024. In 2020 swing states were Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Maine, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Wisconsin so eyes are on these states in the upcoming midterm elections.
