Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) is urgently calling for activists to rally around a January 6 defendant who she says is being mistreated behind bars.
“Pretrial J6 defendant Chris Quaglin lost 10 pounds in 10 days in Northern Neck & is in solitary confinement,” Rep. Greene Tweeted Tuesday.

He has celiac disease & is given a gluten laden diet daily.
He’s being denied medical treatment and is gravely ill.
He also tested covid+ today.

According to an attached document posted by Greene, Quaglin suffers from celiac disease, but “is given a gluten laden diet daily.”
On top of being denied medical treatment, Quaglin reportedly also tested positive for Covid-19 Tuesday.
The website for the Northern Neck Regional Jail in Warsaw, Virginia, shows an inmate by the name of Christopher Quaglin charged with a federal crime whose bond is denied.
“Again, this man in being held PRETRIAL in solitary confinement with serious medical conditions and no treatment,” MTG wrote on Twitter Monday. “He didn’t kill or rape anyone, hurt children, run over people in a Christmas parade, or illegally invade our border. He rioted on J6 and deserves justice not torture.”
